The Qur’an contains a series of heartfelt supplications that begin with the call Rabbana—“Our Lord.” These duas were spoken by prophets and believers in moments of trial, gratitude, repentance, and deep need. Collectively known as the 40 Rabbana Duas, they cover the essentials of life—asking Allah ﷻ for forgiveness (maghfirah), guidance (hidayah), patience (sabr), protection (‘ismah), mercy (rahmah), and lasting success (falah). Muslims around the world learn and recite these duas regularly, weaving them into daily prayers and personal supplications, and through them building a close bond with Allah ﷻ.
